Surfs Up On Pensacola Beach 
Today while driving around Pensacola Beach I saw the surf was up. I caught some of the surfers riding the waves today. Waves where 3 to 4 feet. Images where shot with the Canon 7D using the Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS (Image Stabilizer) lens.

Docks At Joe Patti's Seafood Pensacola, Florida 
One of the places I enjoy photographing in the Pensacola area is Joe Patti's Seafood docks. Yesterday while out and about I stop there and did a few shots. The below are B&W shot with the Canon 7D using the Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS Lens. I used Nik Software Silver Efex Pro 2 for converting to B&W.

A Visit On the Peacemaker 
Today I had the opportunity to go onboard the Peacemaker which is docked in Pensacola, Florida at the Palafox Pier. The ship will be here until March 21. You may read more about this sailing vessel via this here. Below are some of the images I shot with Canon 7D using the Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS lens while visiting this vessel. Hopefully I will be able to return before its departure.

Modeling Pelican Returns  
Well this morning (01/14/12) the Pelican that was doing modeling last Saturday was back again this week. I guess he enjoyed it so much he had to make a return visit.







When I was photographing the modeling Pelican today I caught this shot (see below) of a local photographer taking advantage of the model. The image was shot with the iPhone 4S.

Pelican Show Off His Beads

New Look For StuartOnline Website 
Hope all had a wonderful and safe holiday season.

Over the past weekend I released a new updated look for my StuartOnline Website.
Still making changes and additions but it is up an running.
In time I will be updating to a newer look to the current StuartOnline Blog.

I plan to do some traveling this year which will most likely take me out west and maybe up to Canada. However I do plan to make another photo trip to south Florida to photograph wild life in the Everglades sometime this coming spring.

Unusual Model Saturday November 26, 2011 
This morning I had an interesting modeling assignment. Yes, this Crane seemed to enjoy modeling for me. He was hanging out at the end of Palafox in downtown Pensacola, Flodia. He did number of poses for me and seems to even enjoy doing it.

Jerry's Cajun Cafe & Catering Fried Turkeys November 23, 2011

Dead Trees  
This afternoon I decided to head out Ft Pickens and do a little hiking. Of course having the camera with me, I shot the blow interesting dead trees. The camera used was the Canon 7D with the 24-105mm IS 4L. This is the lens that I find I use most often. It is a real work horse.
