High Dynamic Range (HDR)
The below photo is a High Dynamic Range (HDR).
Multiple exposures where taken, then aligned and merged to generate a single image that enables a much wider range of colors and tonality. In this case three images where used. Was shot with the Canon 7D using an EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens.

Annual Antique Car Show Pensacola, Florida
On Saturday, May 14th in down town Pensacola was the annual antique car show.
This event was held on Palafox Street.
Below are a few of the images I shot that where transformed into High Dynamic Range (HDR) images.

HDR, is a digital photography technique whereby multiple exposures of the same scene are layered and merged using image editing software to create a more realistic image, or a dramatic effect. The combined exposures can display a wider range of tonal values than what the digital camera is capable of recording in a single image.

Home From Photo Trip --- Planning Next Trip
After being on the road since May 4th, I have now returned to Gulf Breeze. Over the five days on the road I traveled nearly 1800 miles. The photo trip took me down the west coast of Florida, across the state via 41 through the Everglades. Then over to Miami Beach and up the coast via US A1A via Boca, then over to Daytona Beach. Last stop before heading home was a few hours in St Augustine.

During this photo trip I shot nearly 1000 images. Now I need to spend some time going through these images, editing and posting and of course printing and framing. Be watching this Blog for information on where to view images from this photo adventure.

I am now in the planning stages for my next travel photo trip which should be announced soon.
